Bola Badmus
Managing Partner
As the Managing partner, Bola Badmus provides strategic consulting on new business plan and sales development by working in partnership with our team to diagnose our clients’ corporate needs and how they can be achieved. He brings over 15 years of professional experience in business development and consulting to the organisation. He has worked with the government and various multinational companies to strengthen their businesses, pursue growth and implement value-add changes.
Bola Badmus is a development expert with a proven track record of building and scaling new capabilities by deploying the power of digital and business analytics to create greater value and improve performance. He consults for leading oil companies, non-profit organizations, FMCGs, retail, logistics and food-service companies headquartered in Europe, Africa, and North America, as they seek to pursue strategic priorities and control costs.
Prior to founding BB Atlantic Corporation, Bola Badmus, Jr. served as the Managing partner at Oxlade Construction Limited; a non-executive director at Wallville Alliance International; and an executive director at Taxi-Ad International Group, where with his negotiation skills, championed successful marketing campaigns for Procter & Gamble Plc, Diageo, Swift 4G, Cadbury Plc, PZ Cussons, Guinness Nigeria, Promasidor Group etc, and worked with various government agencies in establishing strategic plans to respond to the implications of growth, core values, organisational capabilities and operating models - from first market entry to maturity.
In addition to his work experience, Bola Badmus is a key advocate of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and also a member of various industry associations.
Wale Lawal
Senior Partner, Africa & Middle East
Wale is responsible for the overall quality and consulting engagements in Africa. He brings an experience of over 20 years centered around business development, procurement and project management across various industries.
Prior to his appointment, Wale worked as the Country Director at Oilfield Production Consultants (Nigeria). He directed the preparation of operational matters and managed the company’s technical consultancy on geosciences, subsurface engineering and reservoir surveillance for both international and local oil corporations in Nigeria.
As Regional Director for Africa at Entec International - a global MRO procurement and supply chain organization based in UK; Wale developed and managed the company’s business operations with turnovers in excess of $84 million dollars through strategic partnerships with multinationals like Lafarge, Procter & Gamble, Diageo, PZ Cussons, Coca-Cola, Nigeria Breweries, etc.
Prior to joining Entec International, Wale was a project manager at Krones Africa where he joined in deploying process technology and automation to manufacture lines for bottling and packaging equipment in the Food & Beverage industry.
Katherine Soanes, PhD
Senior Partner, United Kingdom (Contract Administration & Non-Profit organizations)
Katherine has a wealth of experience in strategic HR management, Monitoring & Evaluation, Project management, Clinical operational research, Public health policy & Contract negotiation for NGO, Nursing, Staff Management and Clinical experience both in the UK and Africa.
She has directly initiated and managed contracts for Governmental and Non-Governmental organizations in excess of $750 million over the last 5 years, with an oversight in developing and implementing Public health policies while also building leadership and human capital.
At BB Atlantic, Katherine manages service delivery and coordination for the United Nations, NHS, Commercial and Health sales, Procurement & Health Supplies, Recruitment, Compliance, Management and Implementation experience throughout the UK for Private, Public and NHS sectors.
Before her appointment, Katherine worked as the Head, Contract & Business Development at Penderels Trust Plc, where she provided support services for individuals and organizations who received funding from their local authority to action their development plans. Amongst other roles, she worked as the National NHS Clinical Account Manager; and as a Permanent Consultant with Pulse Staffing and Brook Street Bureau Plc.
She has trained many health care workers globally with several service awards.
Lekan Oganla
Senior Partner, North America
Lekan leads BB Atlantic’s practice in North America. He is passionate about improving the efficiency and effectiveness of critical organizations for our society. Lekan brings deep expertise in shaping large-scale transformation programs—in sectors as varied as marketing, oil & gas, media, business and economic development.
He works with senior leaders in business, government, and multilateral agencies in the design and deployment of large transformations. These programs often involve deep organizational, cultural, and operational changes aimed at capturing significant value in a sustainable fashion.
Before his appointment, he was the Founder/President at Umbrella Media Corporation and Sell Media Group, a privately-held global media and marketing organization that helps corporate clients communicate their services to their target audience using ground breaking initiatives and technology.
Lekan is a member of various industry associations and has mentored many associates professionally.
Yetunde is a Finance expert with about 15 years of dynamic experience in auditing, financial control and reporting, financial due diligence, ERP implementation, loan and equity financing, tax planning and compliance. She is responsible for the overall quality and output of each engagement, fully equipped with extensive analysis, reporting, projects and people’s management skills. Her experience spans several industries in two continents.
She championed the successful acquisition of Conoco Philips with assets over $2 billion by Oando Plc and developed a N60 billion debt restructuring program (MTL) through a syndicated loan agreement of thirteen Nigerian commercial banks to just three chartered banks, with an objective to align the use of debts.
Yetunde partners with key stakeholders to develop and implement strategies that checks regulatory reforms, technological complexity, competitive dynamics and market trends using leading-edge IT solutions.
Prior to her current role, she served as a Senior Financial Analyst at the North American Construction Group and AltaSteel Plc, where she worked with the management to identify opportunities for global liquidity and cash management, with receivables financing as well as leasing. She also worked with Oando and Enyo Plc, and rose through the ranks from a Finance Associate to a Financial Controller.
Yetunde is a member of many professional organizations including Chartered Professional Accountants (CPA), Fellow of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA).
Ismaila Isa
Senior Partner, Nigeria (Public sector)
Ismaila leads our public sector and social sector practices in Nigeria, advising companies and governments on delivering performance transformations. He has a wealth of experience in supply chain, logistics, contract negotiation and government relations.
Prior to this role, Ismaila was Director of Operations at Wallville Alliance International Limited, where he successfully led a team of professionals in the Business support unit to advise both internal and external stakeholders on building sustainable business advantages through leading edge technologies and excellent relationship management.
As the Head of Logistics and Procurement at Halliburton Corporation (Nigeria), Ismaila worked with various departments and vendors in identifying their corporate needs and subsequently proffered effective supply chain solutions. He has developed and managed contracts for several tiers of the Nigerian government in excess of $25 million over the last 5 years, with an oversight in implementing Public procurement policies while building mutually beneficial relationships, business leadership and human capital.
Ismaila has helped smoothen several government transitions by fostering and implementing valued economic development programs.
